A lot of the kids there this year came to one of our previous Summer Camps, they all enjoyed it so much that they asked their parents to get them back as a Chrstmas Present. Teaching skateboarding is something that I really enjoy and the kids at the xmas camp were really keen and they all got on well with us and each other.

The Christmas Camp at Ramp City Blackpool was another roaring success built on the groundwork of the Summer Camp. If it helps any of those that attended to carry on skateboarding and get as much out of skating as I have over the years it's a job well done.

Thank you and the two other guys for the coaching session on Tuesday. All the boys had a great time. They all learned something new and each one of them challenged themselves and felt as if they had achieved something.

Progression Action Sports led a 4 day summer skate camp in Barnstaple this summer. All the young people taking part had a great time and learnt some new skating skills. The sessions really helped them to gain confidence and this hopefully means the skate park will be used by even more people in the future. Parents felt the coaches were professional and able to relate well to all the participants whatever their skating level and so did I!

Fantastic session! Through working with Pro-gression we have now been able to establish a small yet credible presence at our local skate park. This is a massive step forward to achieving our goals and getting more kids active in alternative sports.

Education Business Solutions is a not for profit organisation and registered charity working across Greater Manchester which is dedicated to raising the aspirations and achievements of young people at school and beyond.

In November 2010, Progression Action Sports facilitated a skateboard workshop at St Matthew’s RC High School in North Manchester.  Five groups of 11 and 12 year old children took part in the activity which was an introduction to the sport.  All of the learners who took part really enjoyed the session with one of them saying afterwards “They got you moving and were really entertaining”.

 The coach who attended the day was very professional and engaged with all of the students extremely well.  He was friendly and approachable as well as knowledgeable about skateboarding and made sure all members of the group were able to join in with the session safely.

We would have no hesitation in recommending Progression to others and sincerely hope we will be able to work with him again in the future.

Using a grant from Sports England, Active Dorset, through the Revive Portland Group, we have engaged Pro-gression for skateboard coaching since April 2010. As our considered training partner they have been exemplary in there supply and delivery for our requirement.
They have supplied some of the top skateboard coaches in the country for our sessions, we have had a range of kids from 5-19 years, and they have risen to the challenge of bringing on some accomplished skaters, to what has been the best achievement so far, complete beginners to competent skate park users. The near 300 kids involved to date have come from a range of backgrounds, some quite challenged, and the coaches Pro-gression have supplied have engaged all equally as well.
As a business they have been very understanding in our ever changing need, they have been adaptable and willing to grow organically with our venue changes and the unfortunate weather induced changes at last minute due to the nature of the sport.
We will hopefully continue in our pursuit of skateboard coaching here on Portland and a our chosen partner of choice will be Pro-gression.
